Dr Tahmina Sultana

Dr. Tahmina has 17 years of experience after obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She has completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP), the Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) as well as  Emergency Certificate from the Australian College of Emergency Medicine. She has worked in various rural and metropolitan hospitals throughout Victoria and gained diverse experience.

Dr. Tahmina enjoys providing ongoing care to her patients and their families, including education on disease management. Her clinical interests include fertility and family planning, antenatal care and postnatal care, contraception and birth control, mental health, depression and anxiety, cardiovascular risk assessment, children’s health (Paediatrics), chronic disease management, preventative medicine and health check.

Other than English Dr. Tahmina also speaks in Bangla and Hindi. Outside work Dr. Tahmina enjoys writing fiction-nonfiction stories and articles.
